Confidentiality Notice
Last updated: August 2026
Purpose
Political research is only useful if it can be trusted — and that trust depends on discretion. This notice sets out how National Election Intelligence (“NEI”) protects the confidentiality of client relationships, ground data and strategic recommendations.
What We Treat as Confidential
- The identity of clients and the fact of engagement, unless a client agrees otherwise.
- Raw survey and booth-level data collected by our field teams.
- Analysis, reports, dashboards and strategic recommendations prepared for a client.
- Contact details of influential individuals mapped during field research.
Our Commitment
NEI does not disclose a client’s engagement, data or findings to any competing party, media outlet, or unrelated third party. Findings prepared for one client are never shared with, or repurposed for, another client or campaign.
Field Team & Staff Obligations
Every member of our field and analysis teams operates under an internal confidentiality obligation. Access to client data is limited to the individuals directly working on that engagement.
Impartiality in Research
Our survey methodology is designed to be impartial and objective. Ground data is collected and reported as observed — it is not adjusted to favour any predetermined conclusion.
Limited Exceptions
We may disclose information where required to do so by law or a valid legal process, or with the explicit written consent of the client concerned. Outside of these circumstances, confidentiality is maintained during and after the engagement.
Duration
Our confidentiality obligations continue after an engagement or election cycle has concluded and are not limited to the duration of the campaign itself.
